Dan Albergotti Wins Pushcart Prize

Dan Albergotti's poem "What They're Doing," which appeared in the summer 2007 issue of the Cincinnati Review, has been selected for a 2008 Pushcart Prize and will be reprinted in Pushcart Prize XXXIII. And as if that weren't news enough, his poem "Turning Back" is today's featured poem on the website Verse Daily. Dan currently serves as poetry editor of storySouth and teaches at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Last year Edward Hirsch selected his manuscript, The Boatloads, as the winner of the A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize from BOA Editions. He is the recipient of three VCCA Fellowships.
