VCCA (Virginia Center for the Creative Arts) is one of the largest artists' communities in the nation. Tucked into the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, VCCA has awarded fellowships to thousands of our best national and international writers, composers and visual artists. This blog tells their story—their achievements and the work they are doing in your area and around the world. VCCA news is here, too: events, fellowships, opportunities.
VCCA. Because creative space is a creative edge.

Fellows Give Gift to Karen Bell and VCCA Kitchen
Laura Kaminsky and Rebecca Allan gave a set of dishes and dish towels to the VCCA's Fellows kitchen in honor of Fellows Council chairperson Karen Bell and her recent birthday. Bell continues to promote the use of reusable dishes in the Fellows Kitchen as a responsible, green practice. Kaminsky, Allan, and Bell were in residence together in early January. Laura Kaminsky also serves on the Fellows Council.
