Sally Mann Receives first Mt. San Angelo Award

At VCCA's inaugural 40th anniversary event at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, board member Alex Nyerges, director of the VMFA and host of the event, presented the premiere Mt. San Angelo award to Sally Mann. A longtime member of the VCCA advisory council, Sally's groundbreaking work has made her one of Virginia's most celebrated contemporary artists. Her exhibition, The Flesh and the Spirit, will be at the VMFA through January 23. Stay tuned for more photos from the January 8 gala!
