Paul Shore's Printmaking Project

Paul Shore is taking a page from Audubon’s “folio” and using the crowd sourcing platform, Kickstarter, to pay for the rental fees and materials of his woodblock and intaglio printmaking project at a print shop in NYC this August.

Entitled Drawn Home, the project will feature prints from Shore’s mission of drawing every object in his apartment.

Shore says: “I look to John James Audubon as a role model. He initiated his own Kickstarter campaigns back in the 1820s and 30s to finance his Birds of America project. Like his subscribers, all the contributors to my project will receive a print, and in this case, for about half of its regular cost. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1727938682/drawn-home-prints
