Bronx Artist Documentary Project

Conceived of by the Bronx Artists Collective in celebration of this year's Bronx County Centennial, the Bronx Artist Documentary Project is a collaboration between Bronx photographers and Bronx visual artists in which the former photograph the latter at work in their studios or other Bronx venues.

The BXADP involves over one hundred individuals; it's the aim of the Bronx Artist Documentary Project to increase awareness of the visual artists who work in the Bronx enriching the cultural fabric of the borough.

A public exhibition of the photographs will be on view at the Andrew Freedman Home, 1125 Grand Concourse, from September 13-October 8; opening reception, Saturday September 13. http://www.bronxartistdocproject.org/
